Cookies

What are they?

Cookies are sent to your browser or mobile devices while visiting websites and we use them for navigation, performance, functionality and marketing purposes. These software files help us to store and retrieve information about users' browsing habits in order to optimize and personalize it according to each person's preferences.

Why do we use them?

DECAL® online store uses cookies in order to make sure that the website pages work correctly, as well as to store the preferences and details of the user's browsing experience, such as, which pages are visited and how long they stay on each one.

What types are there and what are their purposes?

Cookies can be classified as session or permanent, depending on the period of time that the user remains on the page. The first type expires when the user closes the browser, and the second type when their goal has been completed (for example, identifying the user on the web page) or when they are manually disconnected.

In addition, depending on their purpose, cookies can be classified as:

Strictly necessary - essential for the website to function properly, as a rule, generated at the time of access or when the login is made. Its use makes it possible to identify users when they leave the page and return later, allowing them access to the areas and / or services available online.

Performance - used to improve the browsing experience and optimize website pages, for example, by storing service settings and purchases made in the online store.

Advertising - essential for receiving information about advertising displayed to website users. The anonymous types only collect information regarding advertising and do not expressly identify users. Those of a personalized type collect personal information from website users to third parties in order to personalize advertising.

Geolocation- used to identify the country or region from which users access the website, adjusting the content sent to geographical specificities.

Analytics - collects information about users' browsing experience, usually anonymously. Sometimes, they also allow to identify the user, uniquely and unequivocally, to obtain information about their interests in the services provided on the website.
